Mahmud Hossain

Mahmud Hossain brings over three decades of expertise in the realms of technology, business, policy, regulation, strategy, and management. With a distinguished career in telecommunication policy and digital infrastructures spanning 31 years, Mahmud has most recently spent over a decade to C-suite leadership roles within Grameenphone, a subsidiary of Telenor Group. Maumud holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, a MBA from Institute of Business Administration at University of Dhaka, and a Master’s degree from Concordia University, Canada. Beyond the boardroom, he channels his passion for social welfare through dedicated involvement in philanthropic endeavors, embodying a holistic commitment to both professional excellence and community betterment.
