Ahmed Medien is a systems engineer and community organizer with over a decade of experience in internet policy and digital platform management. A Chevening Scholar with an MSc in Systems Analysis, he organized the Citizens Dialogues on the Future of Internet Governance in Tunisia in 2020. He was the program co-chair for Openness and Content Governance at MozFest (2021) and RightsCon (2022), the MisInfoCon Global Summits, conference for Truth and Trust Online 2021 and 2022. He subsequently founded and chaired the Misinformation Village at DEFCON.
