Abdullah Ahmad is a data and policy researcher at Carnegie Mellon University. His work leverages dynamic social media data and utilizes network science and machine learning methodologies to investigate cyber-mediated changes in human behavior. His recent works focus on understanding disinformation diffusion in social networks, identifying bot clusters, and quantifying online harassment. At Georgetown University, his work focused on MENA and South Asia regions to bring attention to victims of coordinated influence campaigns in communities that seem to be underrepresented in trust and safety research.
