Tech Global Institute (TGI) is pleased to announce its participation at the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025, to be held in Lillestrøm, Norway from June 23-27. TGI will play key roles at sessions focusing on AI governance, the role of civil society in digital rights advocacy, funding gaps in the Global South, and more. Additionally, we will be participating in several discussions on the sidelines on WSIS+20, as well as participating in strategy and planning meetings with the Freedom Online Coalition and Global South Alliance.

TGI will be present at these sessions at IGF 2025:
  1. June 23, 2025 (09:00 – 10:00 CEST), Workshop Room 1: Making the WSIS+20 moment deliver rights and justice – A civil society brainstorming session
  2. June 24, 2025 (15:00 – 16:15 CEST), Workshop Room 6: Address Digital Funding Gaps in the Developing World

TGI believes that the IGF has a greater role to play in being an effective space for internet governance debates and cooperation. With our participation at IGF 2025, we hope to shed light on the need for the Forum to be stronger in general, more open to multistakeholder innovation approaches, and become a more effective space for internet governance discussions and decisions.
